Initial approach position

Enter the initial approach move distance above the stylus.

The spindle axis will move to this position above the stylus, in rapid feed, during an automated, tool of known length, measure cycle.

The value must be a mm value if the machine is using mm units, or an inch value if the machine is using inch units.

The default value is '100' for mm units, or '4' for inch units.
